В статье сделан краткий обзор истории деятельности Британского и иностранного библейского общества. БиИБО, появившись в результате духовного пробуждения Англии в 1804 г. стало мощным катализатором глобального движения по переводу и распространению Библии во всем мире среди народных масс на понятном языке.
