НАЦІЄТВОРЕННЯ, НАЦІЯ, НАЦІОНАЛІЗМ ТА ІМПЕРІАЛІЗМ

У статті досліджується феномен націоналізму як такий та його східнохристиянські варіації. Зокрема описуються дві основні теорії націоналізму: модернова та домодернова. Також розрізняються два етапи розвитку націоналізму: емансипаційний і пригноблювальний. Перший є здоровішим за останній. Стаття зосереджена на православних версіях націоналізму, які узгоджуються з традиційною структурою помісних церков. У православному світі національна окремішність у поєднанні з церковною помісністю може бути або етнічною, або цивілізаційною. Перша посилює однорідну національну ідентичність у балканському стилі. Друга – це православний неоімперіалізм, несумісний із націєтворенням. Їхня несумісність часто призводить до конфліктів і навіть війн, як у разі війни Росії проти України.
